In 2024, cybersecurity continued to be a leading vertical in the technology industry in Israel, in terms of total value of investments. It raised over 3.6 billion U.S. dollars in funding during the year. Generative AI companies followed, after raising almost 1.6 billion U.S. dollars. Israeli fintech ventures, which have been popular among investors, continued to see lower investment values in 2024. Overall, investment in the Israeli technology sector began to recover, after a significant slowdown in recent years.
